All pups from Windcreek Kennels come with a HIP AND EYE GUARANTEE.

Our guarantee covers any genetic problems which prevents your puppy from being certified by the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals (OFA), or the Canine Eye Registration Foundation, Inc. (CERF).

CERF will certify pups as early as 6 weeks of age. When possible, we will have your pups eyes examined before it leaves our Kennel. If we are unable to have this done, it will be your responsibility to have your pups eyes examined anytime through its 26th month of age. A copy of the CERF certificate MUST be received by Windcreek Kennels no later than thirty (30) days after CERF certification. Failure to comply will result in a VOID of this Guarantee.

OFA will only certify dogs who have reached 24 months of age. It will be your responsibility to have your dogs hips X-rayed for evaluation through its 26th month of age. A copy of the OFA certificate MUST be sent to Windcreek Kennels no later than thirty (30) days after OFA certification. Failure to comply will result in a VOID of this Guarantee.

Failure to comply with the following terms will results in a VOID of Warranty.

• Your puppy MUST be registered with the American Kennel Club (AKC) or the United Kennel Club (UKC) within 6 months of age. Proof of registration MUST be sent to Windcreek Kennels.
• Your dog MUST NOT be bred while under two (2) years of age (applies to both male and female).
• Your dog MUST NOT be bred before obtaining the appropriate OFA and CERF certifications. (See Hip and Eye Guarantee above)
• Your puppy MUST NOT be sold, and/or full or partial ownership transferred to another person and/or persons, while under two (2) years of age.
• Your puppy MUST NOT be sold, and/or full or partial ownership transferred to another person and/or persons before obtaining the appropriate OFA and CERF certifications. (See Hip and Eye Guarantee above)
• Your puppy MUST be properly fed, provided with vaccinations and veterinary care, properly sheltered, not neglected nor abused.

Windcreek Kennels also retains the option to have the dogs hips X-rayed again at a Veterinarian of their choosing and submitted to OFA for re-evaluation. Should the dog subsequently receive an OFA rating then all costs associated with the exam will be the buyers responsibility. Should the dog fail to receive an OFA rating then the cost of the X-ray will be the responsibility of Windcreek Kennels. In any event, the OFA will be the final determining authority.

Wincreek Kennels also retains the option to have the dogs eyes re-examined by a American College of Veterinary Opthalmologists (AVCO) Diplomat of their choice. If the re-examination proves the eyes are free of said genetic defects then all costs associated with the re-examination will be the buyers responsibility. Should the dog prove to have said genetic defects then the exam will be the responsibility of Windcreek Kennels. In any event, the CERF will be the final determined authority.

If all of the conditions of the Guarantee have been meet and there exists a problem then we will, at our discretion, either refund the full purchase price of the pup -OR- give you a like or similar pup from a current or future breeding as a replacement.

Puppies CANNOT be returned for any reason. There are NO EXCEPTIONS.

If the price of the replacement pup is greater than the price of the original pup purchased, then the owner will pay the difference. Transportation and transportation costs of the replacement pup are the responsibility of the owner. If a replacement occurs, your dog MUST be spayed or neutered and written proof by your Vet must be approved by Windcreek Kennels before you receive a replacement pup.

We will refund the full purchase price of your dog. Your original transportation expenses will NOT be refunded nor any other expenses. If a refund occurs, your dog MUST be spayed or neutered and written proof by your Vet must be approved by Windcreek Kennels before a refund occurs.

The warranties as expressed are limited to their terms and conditions. Windcreek Kennels will not be held responsible for any costs associated with the puppy except those specified in the terms and conditions between Windcreek Kennels and the buyer.

Windcreek Kennels will not pay for expenses such as vaccinations, exams, medication, surgeries, etc. authorized by the buyer unless prior written agreement has been made between Windcreek Kennels and the buyer.

The above warranty/guarantee is for informational purposes only and may change without notification. Purchasers of our puppies will be given a written agreement at the time of purchase that will supersede the above warranty/guarantee.

All warranties and/or guarantees are nontransferable and only apply to the original purchaser.
